Dear Snook ISD Parent,

Our students’ well-being and success remains the top priority at Snook ISD. Our commitment includes ensuring your child can access nutritious food at school and in our community.

Beginning October 1, 2020, Snook ISD is operating the Seamless Summer Option. This federal nutrition program allows us to serve nutritious meals in our community to children 18 and younger and enrolled students with disabilities up to 21 years old at no cost to your family.

No cost meals will be served to all enrolled children at their regular lunch times. No cost meals can also be picked up for children in the community that are 18 years and younger at Snook ISD Elementary, Monday-Friday 12:00 pm-12:30 pm.

In addition to school meals, you and your family may be able to access food through community
organizations operating programs such as the Supplemental Assistance Programs(SNAP) or Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children(WIC). These programs can provide additional support during the COVID-19 public health emergency.

Sincerely,
Snook ISD Child Nutrition Staff
