The U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Texas Department of Agriculture announced flexibility that will allow Snook ISD to operate the summer meal program during the 2020/2021 school year. Beginning October 1, district participation in the summer meal program will enable all children ages 1-18 to be eligible to receive a free breakfast and lunch daily.

Meals obtained in the cafeteria line will be rung up under the students account at no charge. Curbside meal service will continue to take place daily 12:00 pm-12:30 pm at the main entrance to the school, please call 979-272-5010 or ask at the front desk and a meal will be delivered to your vehicle.

Because this is a temporary program offered by USDA that will end when funding runs out we encourage household to continue to apply for free or reduced meals by visiting services. This will allow a smooth return to the National School Lunch program when this temporary waiver expires and students will once again be classified as having a Paid/Reduced /Free status. If parents or students have any questions, please call the Child Nutrition Department at 979-272-5010.
