$1,000 one-time scholarship 

Capital Farm Credit supports rural communities and agriculture with reliable, consistent credit and financial services. Through our youth scholarship program, we invest in the next generation of agriculture and the vibrancy of rural communities throughout Texas. Application submissions are accepted at the nearest Capital Farm Credit office of the applicant. To locate an office, visit 

Youth scholarships are awarded using the following eligibility requirements: 

1. Funds shall be used to attend an accredited vocational or technical school, college, or university. Students must maintain full-time status. 

2. Applicants must be high school seniors, graduating within the current school year. 

3. Currently has no less than a “B” grade average 

4. Applicant must demonstrate that they have a tentative educational plan and goals, related to fields in agriculture or natural resources (may include Ag Communications, Ag Economics/Business, Ag. ... Education, Wildlife or Ranch Management, etc.). 

5. Applicants must include the following documents for consideration: 

      a. Completed application b. 2 letters of recommendation c. 100-200-word essay on a topic given in the application. 

6. Applications and all supporting documents must be received by April 6, 2022
