Snook ISD will continue to prioritize the health and safety of our staff and students by requiring the use of masks in school buildings and at school functions for the remainder of the school year.
Snook ISD has been very successful in keeping our schools open and mitigating the spread of COVID-19 within our facilities throughout this school year by following our current protocols. These current protocols, which include masks, have been instrumental in limiting the number of students and staff required to quarantine and miss school because of being considered a close contact.
Your continued support, understanding and partnership in maintaining Snook ISD’s health and safety protocols is greatly appreciated.

Dear Snook ISD Parents,
As you’ve probably heard, Governor Abbott announced that all COVID-19 related restrictions, including the mask mandate, will be discontinued in Texas on Wednesday, March 10. School districts are awaiting information from the Commissioner of Education. There is mixed interpretation as to whether local districts can set their own standards or whether we must abide by the forthcoming direction from the Texas Education Agency.
Our goal, as always, is to keep Snook ISD as safe as possible, and what we’ve done since the start of school has worked. Once we know more, Snook ISD will share our plan with you.
